This little side table is really unique. The honey got this table when his grandparents passed away several years ago (at least 20!). It has some beautiful workmanship but also has several problems. Biggest problem it didn't have a top and one of the feet was broken off. Also the spindle in the middle was put on lopsided ;-) I'm pretty sure this is a repurposed piece from years ago as the legs hang over the top (on the inside) and the spindle was, I think, added to the bottom. I like all of the personality the little table has.

So I thought I would try "white washing" this table and I'm not done yet but here are the different phases:
I did a "thicket" green wash over a white base paint. I used the thicket green because I was trying to match the faux marble top I painted
Then I did a linen wash over the thicket green
I'm going to let the table sit for a while until I'm inspired again :-)
