Cafes Sign

I got this graphic from Graphics Fairy and wondered if I would be able to cut it with the Silhouette. The Silhouette cut it just fine but I did loose the "s" on the end of Legumes because I wasn't paying attention when I pulled the transfer paper off. :-( All in all I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. 

 I just need to touch up a few spots and it'll be done :-) 

Lane Cedar Chest

We had this very brown, very 80's Lane cedar chest that was just begging to be cheered up. So, here it is...looking much happier :-) Sorry about the bad lighting. I'm still in search of the perfect fabric for the top. The bed in the picture is also on my Painting list :-))

Quick Weight Loss

Coastal Chic Table

I have been working on some of the furniture pieces I have sitting around in the house and the garage. It's time to get them done or get them gone! lol (Yeah-that wont happen)

This is a table I bought from Once in a Blue Moon in York Village. (Love that place!) When I bought it, it was a light oak.

 The color is a mix of Bahama Blue and ASCP Old White. The color in the picture below is the truest.

 Added a few little scrolls underneath

Some light distressing

And for the top I went with Old White and mixed some paste wax with acrylic black. I laid streaks across the top then followed with 2 more coats of wax.

The Art of Conversation :-)

I really cannot stand long drawn out conversations on the phone. So, I always keep scrap paper and pencils handy and draw what I see when I look out the window-or whatever ... Here is my latest long telephone conversation:

Silhouette Cameo 1st Project

Tommy bought me a Silhouette Cameo for my birthday/Mother's Day and OHHH MMMMM GGGGG! I love it!

The picture below is a project I did for a friend of mine. It is my first Cameo project:

I absolutely love this machine! I just have to put a frame around this one and it will be done :-)

FInally! Help with the Weeding

My neighbor saw me pulling weeds in the front garden and came over to help. He is soooooo handsome!

He is very proud of his wattle-when he strutted around he made sure I noticed his wattle :-)
